Allegan County Sheriff’s Office Announces Loss Of K-9 Etto
The Allegan County Sheriff's Office announced the loss of one of their own Wednesday.
Retired K-9 Etto passed away on Tuesday at 10 years old. The Allegan County Sheriff's Office said that Etto had been with their office since 2011 and had been partnered with Deputy David Holmes. In 2018, Deputy Holmes and K-9 Etto retired. Etto joined the Allegan County Sheriff's Department in 2011 at 2-years-old.
In his career, Deputy Holmes and K-9 Etto were active in hundreds of cases including suspect apprehensions, drug interdiction, and school programs from instructional demonstrations to drug searches.
