Looking forward to the Detroit Tigers annual TigerFest?  You will have to wait a few more months as the event is being moved.

According to M-Live,  the team announced that they are moving the annual winter event to sometime this summer.  Usually TigerFest  happens the end of January and helps get fans fired up for the season.

Last season the event was held during freezing cold temperatures at Comerica Park.

The event gives Tigers fans a chance to meet the team and coaches.  No date has been set yet for the upcoming TigerFest, but the Winter Caravan is still happening.

The Winter Caravan is January 22nd-24th and is the annual event where Tigers players and coaches travel around the State of Michigan and meet the public.

The team also announced that along with the Caravan, there will be autograph sessions with players set up around Detroit on January 25th.

The locations for the sessions and caravan stops will be announced at a later date.
