Hello! I’m JR. I was born in Flint and lived in and around there until I was about 12 when my family moved south (hence the decidedly non-Michigander accent you hear). I went to high school and college in Tennessee and got my radio start there too. My career has since taken me to Texas, Virginia and Maine as well. I’m the proud dad of a daughter and two sons—the youngest of whom is a special needs child who owns my heart. When I’m not at the radio station, I enjoy live music, karaoke, bowling, and finding new restaurants to try. I’m excited to be back home in Michigan, and I look forward to reacquainting myself with my home state!
