Hi it’s Krista Hatcher, Hostess of 103.3 KFR in Kalamazoo! If we have never met before, I would like to share a little about who I am! I was born in Scottsdale Arizona, but grew up in good old Wisconsin, home of Cheese Curds, Beer, and the Packers! I have always enjoyed entertaining people, ever since I was a little girl. I began my journey into acting during my Middle School Years. I loved acting so much that I majored with a BFA at Viterbo College in LaCrosse, WI. As part of my graduation guidelines, I performed an improvisational/acting recital, which landed me with my first radio job! I Co-Hosted mornings on a 95.7 The Rock FM in Lacrosse, WI! You never know who’s watching. Eventually I moved on and focused my time on acting, which I performed at the Brave New Workshop in Minneapolis, Sol Theatre in Fort Lauderdale, The Second City in Chicago, and TV work for the Discovery Channel as well. Even though I loved acting I missed the fun I had on-air. I decided to become more educated in the radio business and graduated from Broadcasting School in Lombard, IL. I have been working for Cumulus Media since 2004, Hosting nights on WWWX New Rock 96.9 The Fox in Oshkosh, WI from 2004-2008 and from 2008 to present I have been Hosting Mornings on WKFR 103.3 Today’s Best Music. I have been blessed in many ways through the years! I have a job that I love, a wonderful husband who is my best friend, the most beautiful little girl Giovana, and the greatest step-daughter Raven. Oh and I can’t forget my German Sheppard Kaiya, and my 2 fur balls Crunchy and Molly!
