Four people were taken to the hospital Sunday morning after an armed robbery and assault involving two suspects at a Battle Creek home. Battle Creek Police were called at around 8:00 am to a residence located in the 100 block of Waweenork Road. There, they found three injured juveniles and one injured adult who were victims in an apparent home invasion. The suspects had fled the scene before authorities arrived.

After an initial investigation, authorities were led to a residence on West Fountain Street. A male and female suspect were located inside a home. At first, they refused to come outside. After Battle Creek emergency response teams were called to the scene, the two then exited and were taken into custody.

The suspects are expected to face several criminal charges and their names have not been released. The current condition of the four injured victims has also not been released.
