With all the negative you see and hear around you, on TV, on social media, here's something both hearbreaking and positive. God's Kitchen in Battle Creek has started a GoFundMe page to raise $5500 to pay for holiday dinners.

The plan is to deliver Thanksgiving dinners to  those at Cherry Hill Manor, Kellogg Manor, Bedford Manor, and also to Springview Tower and Silver Star Apartments. These are the elderly, sick and also Veterans.

Then for Christmas, God's Kitchen is putting together a holiday dinner at Battle Creek Central High School. That's on December 19th  from 6-8pm at 100 Van Buren St.

Since it's start in 2011, they have served over 100,000 dinners. And now they're serving veterans in the Battle Creek area.

Again, the GoFundMe page is here
