Tuesday night, November 13th will see a very special event in the Kalamazoo area. Operation Wedding Gown will see military and first responder brides honored with free wedding dresses.

Locally, downtown Kalamazoo bridal store Memories Bridal & Evening Wear is partnering with Brides Across America.  During the one-day special event, Memories Bridal will have over 60 designer wedding gowns in sizes 6-20 available to qualifying brides-to-be.

Here's how to participate, and time is tight, with the event on Tuesday. You have to go to Brides Across America and register. Step 2 is to then call Memories Bridal at 269. 344.2404 to setup an appointment time.  Military and first responders (or their fiancés) that have served in the past five years are qualified to participate, and all participants must bring a valid work ID or proof of service to be presented the day of the event.

“Every bride deserves to have that fairy tale wedding, especially our first responders and military that serve us on a daily basis,” says Brides Across America founder Heidi Janson.
