The weather will be hot, just like the summers in Africa. Perfect opportunity to make Dad sweat, while the kids take him to Binder Park Zoo.

This Sunday, June 17, Binder Park Zoo offers to dads the same deal to dads and grand dads as they did for Mother's Day.

Dads will receive 50% off the regular admission price when accompanied by their children or grandchildren. Bring Dad to meet the newest addition to the giraffe herd! Kumi is a young male giraffe now on exhibit in Wild Africa. Binder Park Zoo invites families to enjoy the holiday with an unforgettable adventure to Wild Africa and back... June 17, come face to face with African lions, feed lettuce leaves to giraffes, and peer into the fascinating world of wildlife at the zoo.

The zoo will try and add to the fun with “Wild Walks:” an hour-plus guiding walking tour of the zoo.  There are two options. You can go east or you can go wild; the East Zoo or Wild Africa, to learn in more depth from a knowledgeable guide about the zoo’s animals, exhibits, and history.  Cost is $5 per person, and a minimum of six people must register.

Binder Park Zoo will be open from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm on Father's Day, Details and directions are at the zoo's website, BinderParkZoo.org
