It was a magical season for the Chicago Cubs in 2016 winning the World Series.   They will begin to defend their title among 7 games that will be featured on the opening two days of the 2017 season.

According to a press release from ESPN,  the Cubs will be the prime time featured game on Sunday Night, April 2nd as they will be in St. Louis against the Cardinals.

The other two games on opening day will feature the Yankees in Tampa and the Giants in Arizona.

Day two will be highlighted by the defending American League Champion Cleveland Indians.  They will travel to Texas to play the Rangers.

It has also been announced that ESPN will have the Cubs home opener at Wrigley Field on April 10th against the Dodgers.

Baseball will be here before you know it.
