Chipotle is Opening a Restaurant On Westnedge Ave in Portage – Finally

It was back in 2011 that Chipotle opened its first Kalamazoo area restaurant along West Main Street. And for 6 years, the chain seemed conspicuously absent from the Westnedge Ave shopping district in Portage. That's finally changing.

Construction has begun at the new Portage Chipotle just north of Milham in a building they'll share with Panera Bread. The address for Chipotle in Portage is 5964 S. Westnedge Ave.

The chain has begun hiring but has not yet set an opening date.
