Apparently to become Citizen of the Year for GQ Magazine all you have to do is be famous for something and not show pride in your country, flag and stereotype all police forces as harboring racist killer squads.

GQ Magazine has named Colin Kaepernick as their Citizen of the Year, congratulations Colin.

Back in August of 2016 Colin Kaepernick stated why he show disrespect for our country, flag and police forces when he told NFL.com:

I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color.  To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.

Many attempt to say that Colin was not showing disrespect for our country, flag or police forces.  Well take him at his own words and attempt to spin some other reason at your own risk of looking ignorant.

Now the question is who is actually running and buying GQ magazine and should we possibly be concerned about them?
