Concern Grows For Missing Battle Creek Teen

In one week, it will be one month since 15 year old Lavonda Marriott-Lockmiller went missing from her home in Battle Creek. Battle Creek Police are looking for Lavonda Marriott-Lockmiller, who was last seen August 16^th.  Marriott-Lockmiller is a white female with brown hair, blue eyes, standing at 5'5" and weighing 130 pounds with a medium build.

WWMT reports text messages sent to the mother of Lavonda, from an unknown number, have increased concern for the young girl’s safety. The more time Lavonda is gone, the more concerned police become that this could be more than a runaway. Surveillance cameras at her home show Lavonda leaving in a gray or silver car with a group of people Aug. 16, according to police.
