Many in the NBA have been honoring Kobe Bryant since his tragic passing on Sunday.  Pistons forward, Markieff Morris is among many players who are changing their numbers.

According to M-Live, Morris will change his number 8 to 88 to honor Kobe.  Kobe wore 8 and 24 during his career with the Lakers. Morris wants to change his number 8 to 88 to show double the respect to Kobe.
He unfortunately will have to wait to debut the number 88 as the league has to approve the change.

Morris isn't the only player changing numbers.  Spencer Dinwiddie, Terrence Ross, Trae Young and Joel Embiid are among those in the league honoring Kobe with number changes.

The Dallas Mavericks are honoring Kobe by retiring his number 24.

We'll see if anymore players or teams change or retire numbers this season to honor Kobe Bryant.
