Detroit Red Wings Announce Promotional Schedule For First Half Of The Season

The Red Wings start their preseason schedule tomorrow and the season is a few weeks away.  The team recently announced their promotional schedule for the first half.

According to the Red Wings,  The first few months of the season will feature giveaways such as thundersticks on opening night, October 6th.

A backpack,  magnet schedule, LED leg lamp and an ugly sweater t shirt are also among the items to be given away the first few months of the season.

The team will also feature 80's night on October 22nd, Halloween Night on October 29th and Grateful Dead Night on December 7th.

The annual Thanksgiving Eve game will be on November 27th along with the New Year's Eve game on December 31st.

The Red Wings regular season begins on the road in Nashville on October 5th. The home opener is October 6th against Dallas.
