Detroit Red Wings College Nights To Return For This Season

Once again this season the Detroit Red Wings will have college nights through out the season. 20 colleges and universities across the state will have their night with the Red Wings.

According to the Red Wings, there will be 20 colleges and universities with their own nights at a Red Wings game this season.

With a purchase of a group ticket dedicated to each school, fans will receive a limited edition hat featuring their schools logo on the brim and the whinged wheel on the front.

This season the team encourages fans to purchase tickets through their group package. $5 dollars from every ticket will be donated back to the schools scholarship fund.

There will also be a first time, "Hockeytown College Nights" champion crowned for the school who sells the most group tickets.

The winning school will have $5,000 donated to their scholarship fund by Michigan First Credit Union.

The first game this year is Ferris State on November 8th.  Other notable college night games feature Michigan State on January 18th, Michigan on February 25th and Western Michigan on March 28th.
