The DNR has a long list of suggestions for a day at a park that range from hiking and running, to biking the many trails around the state. Hunting and Camping and checking out the historic markers around the parks and learning more about the state.
Just a few of the suggestions that were given by the folks at the DNR. There are all sorts of things to do to keep busy if you need any more suggestions the DNR has a list.
You can also visit the DNR site for a list of State Parks and Recreation Areas in Michigan.
