Employers Christmas Gift To Employees Is Guns
A Wisconsin based glass company, a father and son place, gave their small staff firearms as a Christmas bonus in an effort to promote personal safety and team building.
The business , which is called BenShot, they produce novelty glassware embedded with a bullet, just as if it had been shot.
16 of the full time employees were allowed to choose a gun with a value of up to $500 dollars. This is the first time the company has done something like this.
The company executives held a gun safety training course before distributing the weapons. Some of the company's workers opted to take the gift card instead of weapon.
One woman says she stands behind the company's decision to arm the staff with handguns. The employee said she is just really thankful for it, saying that kind of concept behind why they wanted to do that was for our safety and our family's safety. Adding it really cool.
As far as the naysayers go..well the company says the support the NRA and the 2nd amendment.
