This Kalamazoo College location has an unassuming entrance that leads to some of Kalamazoo's most spectacular trails.

The Lillian Anderson Arboretum is located on M-43 just west of US-131/Kalamazoo. It can be difficult to find but once you are there, you will never want to leave.

If you are heading East in M-43, you will see the drive on the South side of the road with no markers to tell you that you have found the right place. Once you turn in and get one of the few parking spots available, grab your binoculars, camera, friends and even your dog and head on down the trails.

The first thing you will find is this building which serves as a great resting spot between trails. Also in this spot are some solar panels and a self composting restroom. Check out this video for a quick trip down a couple of the trails.
