Final Bronson Park Concert of Season Tonight

The final summer concert of the season at Bronson Park is tonight at 6pm. Master drummer Herlin Riley brings his unique New Orleans sound to Thursdays in the Park.

A regularly featured musician at Jazz at the Lincoln Center, he has performed alongside some of the biggest names in jazz. He was a member of Ahmad Jamal’s group for a number of years before joining Wynton Marsalis’ touring and recording group, and has recorded with such artists as George Benson, Marcus Roberts, Dr. John, Harry Connick, Jr., and Benny Wallace.

Thursdays in the Park – Mix & Mingle is a collaboration with the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo, Fontana and the City of Kalamazoo.
