Calhoun County Sheriff deputies are looking into a crash along I-94, early Sunday morning, which sent a woman and her two children to the hospital. According to a release from the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office, just after 3 AM, a 32 year old Galesburg woman was stopping to help another driver who had just hit a deer, near mile marker 106. As she was slowing down, she was rear ended by a 21 year old Kalamazoo woman.

She, along with her two children, were hospitalized at Bronson Battle Creek with minor injuries. Meanwhile, the driver who struck the deer was hospitalized, in stable condition. However, a passenger in that vehicle had to be extricated and was taken to Bronson Kalamazoo in critical condition. Investigation continues into both accidents.
