Not only that, but he founded the non-profit organization that he was running with.

10-year-old Zechariah Cartledge started Running 4 Heroes, which is where he does an honor run for every first responder that passes away in the line of duty. On Wednesday night, he did seven laps around his school's track in honor of fallen Detroit police officer Rasheen McClain.

McClain was killed while responding to a call about a home invasion that ended up being a domestic dispute earlier this week.

The flags are purchased with donations and then presented to the fallen first responder's family.

Thanks for all you do, Zecharia. And rest in peace, Officer McClain. Thank you for your service.
