Ford Issues Recall On F-150 Trucks Over Headlamp Issues
WILX.com reports that Ford Motor Company is recalling over 217,000 of its F-150 truck models.
The recalled trucks are mainly in North America, and are targeted by the automaker for a potential issue with the daytime running lamps. The affected model years are from 2018 to 2020.
According to the report, the running lamps may keep working if an operator were to move the headlight switch from auto to low beam position. This could lead to reduced visibility to other drivers. No accidents have been reported because of the defect. A simple software update will be performed at no charge by dealers to fix the issue.
