Antonio Brown is being accused of sexual assault and rape by a former Central Michigan University gymnast.

Browns name has been in the news a ton over the last year, and it has been a rollercoaster. Starting with his huge trade to the Raiders, to all the issues with his helmet. Eventually Brown was cut from the Raiders, and has signed with the Patriots. Brown hasn't played a down yet, but his name is still in the headlines.

The allegations came out late Tuesday night, and the full lawsuit that was filed in a Florida court can be read here.

Britney Taylor is the woman making the accusations that go back to when she worked as Browns' trainer. The allegations concern two incidents in 2017, and then a rape allegation in May of 2018. One of the incidents in 2017 involved Brown allegedly masturbating on Taylor's back. The graphic text messages from Brown afterward can be seen here.

ESPN reported that the Patriots are blindsided by the allegations, and are scrambling to figure out what to do. A lawyer for Brown tweeted a statement saying that Brown denied any and all of the charges. The statement said that any of the contact between the two was consensual.

I guess we'll have to wait and see where this goes, but no doubt that the crazy start to the NFL season is only getting crazier for Brown.

***Normally the name of an alleged victim of sexual assault would not be released, but Taylor was identified in the federal lawsuit and was quoted in a statement provided by her lawyer, David Haas
