What a day.

On Saturday, April 22nd, an airplane took off from Kalamazoo for Washington D.C. It was filled with area veterans of WWII, Korea and also caregivers and relatives who had experienced other wars. The purpose of the Honor Flight is just that; to honor those who served our country and preserved our freedom, in World War II and the Korean War.

The Adult Prom in late February at the Kalamazoo Radisson was a fund raiser to make this past Saturday possible. A chance to say thank you to a group of humble men, who were kids, and as most would tell you, they were doing their duty. No thanks needed. But a thanks is needed. And this was a chance to do just that.
