Renk: Girls, You Need To Make Up Your Mind
We all grew up knowing and seeing girls joining the Girl Scouts and boys joining the Boy Scouts, right.
Well over the last eights years we have seen an intensive push to destroy all boundaries and push for girls to be able to join boys clubs and groups. You notice you never hear the boys asking to join the girls clubs and groups.
Well now the girls are getting what they asked for or at least what their parents and people that have nothing to do with them have been demanding and they do not like or want it.
The New York Times is reporting about the President of the Girl Scouts not very happy with the Boys Scouts for recruiting girls.
Kathy Hopinkah Hannan, the President of the Girls Scouts wrote a letter to the Boy Scouts President accusing them of attempting to undercut her organization through a “covert campaign to recruit girls”.
In the letter she writes:
“I formally request that your organization stay focused on serving the 90 percent of American boys not currently participating in Boy Scouts. It is therefore unsettling that B.S.A. would seek to upend a paradigm that has served both boys and girls so well through the years.”
Let me give you girls some fatherly advice, you need to decide if you want to join the boys clubs and groups or not. You need to learn now that you cannot have it both ways. Although I suspect that the girls where not the ones pushing to join the boys clubs and groups, probably some busy bodies that have nothing to do with these girls.
