All the smart people told you, this bowing down to the “I am offended” crowd will never stop.

Now it has hit the movies, a very famous one at that.  A local CBS affiliated in Memphis Tennessee is reporting that the board of directors of the Orpheum Theatre Group is canceling their 34 year old tradition of playing “Gone With The Wind”.

Why you ask, well I will tell you why.

The Board of Directors believes the movie is “insensitive”.

The article quoted from the boards statement stating:

As an organization whose stated mission is to ‘entertain, educate and enlighten the communities it serves,’ the Orpheum cannot show a film that is insensitive to a large segment of its local population. While title selections for the series are typically made in the spring of each year, the Orpheum has made this determination early in response to specific inquiries from patrons.

I understand some people’s concerns about this movie but the question really is where will this stop, if ever.

At what point will people say enough is enough?  This "I am offended by everything" crowd will never stop, it is like a blob that has to be continuously fed.
