If you have already been vaccinated for COVID-19, you can still get involved in Michigan's vaccine lottery and it's pretty easy.

When I heard about states, like Ohio, doing lotteries to encourage people to get vaccinated, I have to tell you, I was a bit jealous. C'mon, who wouldn't want to win some cash for getting vaccinated?

Then I hear about Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer announcing a lottery trying to encourage the young people and others who have yet to be vaccinated to do so for a shot a winning some big money and even scholarship money.

When I first heard the news about the vaccine lottery, I thought, "wait a minute, I've already been vaccinated." I thought, "what a rip off, " but before I got myself all worked up I did a little research and discovered that if you have been vaccinated you can still enter to the vaccine lottery with a shot to win one of 32 cash prizes this summer.

Who isn't down with some extra cash during the summer months? I know I'm down.

If you are 18 or older and you have already been vaccinated, just click here and you can get registered right now. You will need to fill out some information and you will need your vaccination card so you can fill in that information as well. It's really simple. You can also register by phone at 888.535.6136 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. weekends.

The grand prize is $2 million and there's no way in hell I'm not gonna sign up to try and with that.

It looks like there is deadline to enter and get vaccinated because the first drawing will be July 11 for the $1 million jackpot. For this prize you need to be vaccinated and registered between December 1 and July 10.

To get your hands on the $2 million jackpot you have to be vaccinated and have from July 1 and August 3 to get registered to win.

So if you haven't gotten your shot yet, get signed up and get it done now. There are daily drawings of $50,000 between July 1 and August 3.
