Ingham County Sheriff Scott Wrigglesworth announced on Facebook Wednesday that he has decided to say not allow crews from the television show Cops to follow Ingham County sheriff Deputies for an upcoming episode.

Earlier this year, it was announced that crews may be coming to Mid-Michigan to catch our local heroes in brown while on the job. Though there were many people in the area excited about it, there were also some opposed to capturing area criminals at their worst on camera.

According to Wrigglesworth's post, there were some deputies, members of the Ingham County Board of Commissioners, and county residents that were concerned about what crews might capture on film...or, whatever it's called these days. As stated in the post, these folks "expressed concerns with memorializing someone's worst day for entertainment purposes."

Needless to say, the Lansing area will have to wait to see their neighbors on TV until Dog the Bounty Hunter comes back to the area to help Leo's Bail Bonds capture bail jumping scum from the streets of the capital city.
