Southwest Michigan is no stranger to the Mac & Cheese festival as this has become a popular event in recent years. Kalamazoo has hosted three of them in the past few years at Homer Stryker Field at Mayor's Riverfront Park, where attendees could try many different mac and cheese combinations.

After watching Kalamazoo put on such a successful and fun event over and over, Battle Creek has decided to get in on the fun. Battle Creek is looking to replicate the event, holding its festival at the Kellogg Arena. They are looking to invite vendors to share their mac and cheese concoctions with the public who's searching for cheesy ooey goodness.

Battle Creek's first Mac and Cheese Festival will take place on April 15th from 3-7 p.m. at the Kellogg Arena. There is a $5 admission fee for each attendee and each sample will be available between $3-$7. There will also be both soft and adult beverages available for purchase throughout the arena.

Over the course of the next few weeks, the public will find out what restaurants and food trucks will be presenting their mac and cheese samples and creations for review. So far there have been 3 vendors released to the public and if they follow this trend, this should be a BANGER Mac and Cheese Fest.

The first three vendors that were released to the public were Finley's Smokehouse and Grill, On The Roll, and Big Moe's. For now, those are the only ones we know of but keep your eyes out for more vendors to be released by the Kellogg Arena on Facebook.
