One of the biggest realizations I had as an adult is that most of the things that we have in American aren't made or grown here in America. This not only affects the availability of these products but also the pricing of these items as well. Obviously, these problems could still exist if these things were produced in America, but the fall out wouldn't be as bad.

2025 is going to be quite the year for not only us here in America but for many people around the world. When you look at all of the wars, weather patterns and disasters, supply issues, and other factors, it will be no surprise that some prices will go up and some products will be scarce.

Grocery stores in not only Michigan but all over the world will look slightly different. Some of your favorite and most popular food items will be hard to find, cost an arm and a leg, or both. This is a warning preparing you to let your wallet know that it's going to be a tough year.

As expected, eggs are on the list but there are a few other items that may surprise you. I am on neither side of the egg debate, but it doesn't look like the prices are going to be going down anytime soon, so do with that information as you will.
