The voting process is something that we begin learning about in elementary school and are eventually taught most of the ins and outs by the end of high school, right before we reach the legal voting age. Every 2 years there are local elections that take place for city, township, county, and state legislative branches and most of the federal appointments are voted on every 4 years.
