Bobblehead Hall of Fame Making Michigan’s OU Coach Kampe Bobbleheads
There are been many people through the years who have been immortalized through the bobblehead. Their popularity has always been relevant to collectors, and with the addition of things like Funko pops, they are a fun way of displaying your support, and or love for a certain character or person.
It wasn’t too long ago that we reported that, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum would commemorate the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League with bobbleheads of the championship teams. Two of those teams were the Kalamazoo Lassies in Grand Rapids Chicks. After a stellar year, it was announced this morning from the Bobblehead Hall of Fame, that their next special Bobblehead will be of Greg Kampe, head coach of the Oakland Golden Grizzlies basketball team.

Along with their mascot Grizz, the bobbleheads will be individually numbered to only 2024 so they are somewhat limited, and are expected to ship sometime in September, according to a press release:

The bobbleheads celebrate the Golden Grizzles’ coach who has led the program for 40 years and was a tournament darling during March Madness after a stunning upset over Kentucky followed by a near-upset over NC State. The 2024 NCAA Tournament concludes tonight with the National Championship game, making this a perfect time to celebrate Oakland’s great tournament performance. The limited edition bobbleheads are being produced by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum.

The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, which is located at 170 S. 1st. St. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, opened to the public on February 1st, 2019.
