Some great news was hung on the door outside of Samuel Mancino's Pizza & Grinders at 3833 Gull Road in Kalamazoo, as it's been announced that they plan on re-opening their location sometime this spring in 2023.

However, it seems that the former owners may have nothing to do with this new location as, along with the promise of delivering the best to the people of Kalamazoo, the signage also says that they're not only gonna be run by new owners but with a new team too:

Mancino's Pizza and Grinders were established in the late 1930's by Samuel Mancino Sr., near St. Clair Shores, Michigan. The original recipes and good customer relations were the hallmarks of Sam Mancino's success, and those concepts are still prevalent today in all Mancino's shops. The Mancino's team insists on providing products which are high in quality, generous in portion and superior in freshness. We will never compromise our quality for gimmick or profit.

Their website not only gives a brief history of how they started on the east side of the state, but just how far they've expanded since opening, with locations throughout Michigan and into Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, and even down in Kentucky.

There's some talk that there will also be a new business taking over another building and possibly replacing a business in that very complex as well in March, and we'll be finding out more about that soon. But for now, we can be happy that Mancino's will be back open soon.
