You'll probably remember, a while back, the story of Corey Harris, and how he was popped with a short stint in jail for being behind the wheel during his virtual hearing... regarding his suspended license.

Well, that whole story was a whirlwind of its own, but the viral judge at the center of it, is again in the spotlight after he had to delve out yet ANOTHER serious suspension for people doing dumb things in his courtroom. This time, the defendant took a direct shot at the judge, and he is paying the price.

The Defendant, Darrell Jarrell, appeared before Judge Cedric Simpson in Washtenaw County for a simple misdemeanor trespassing charge, and by all accounts, should have just gotten a slap on the wrist, maybe a fine, and that's it.

But, he decided to mouth off to the judge, whom we've already found out, does NOT like nonsense.

Video from the court appearance shows Jarrell telling the judge, "I'm tired of this state. I'm ready to leave this state as soon as possible." That, in and of itself, is enough for Judge Simpson to consider him hostile, or at the very least, a flight risk for whatever his next hearing, or step in the process would be. But it's what he said next that REALLy put him in deep water.

"It's trespassing. I could technically leave, and you guys could issue a warrant and as long as I don't return, you can just kiss my ass."

Well, fun fact, you can't "leave the state" if you're in a jail cell, and the Honorable Judge SImpson knew this. Then, as if to welcome the idea that Simpson might come down even harder on him, he flat out interrupted Simpson by saying "F--k You!" in his courtroom.

The judge did Not appreciate that, and started stacking on the contempt charges, each adding 93 days in jail for every swear word he said... which he KEPT doing.

Finally, after the Bailiff was able to get Jarrell out of the courtroom, The honorable Judge Simpson did his math, and Jarrell has racked up a whopping 558 days in jail... just for dropping the F-Bomb six times.

But maybe the BEST part of this whole thing had NOTHING to do with Jarrell's case... it was what happened right after the judge sentenced him. He moved right on to a virtual court hearing with the defendant Keith Jenkins, who was absolutely SLACK-JAWED in amazement after what just happened.

Same Keith... Same. My guess is, he cooperated fully with Judge Simpson in his hearing.
