Three Rivers is about to get a new eatery in their Historic District from the Miller Family called The Kent Eatery & Spirits. The building, located at 45 N Main St in Three Rivers, MI was announced all the way back in March of 2022, but things are in motion now that may allow the restaurant to open at the end of the year or in early 2023.

In a post the restaurant made on its social media page, it announced that the final steps are now in progress:

Hey internet friends, we finally got all the new furniture and equipment in. Getting there. Please be patient with us as we schedule the final inspections and get the doors open soon! Thank you all for your interest! We look forward to serving you all.

Interior Coming Along

There seems to have been a lot of work behind the scenes this year while they worked hard on remodeling the interior of the restaurant with the help of a family friend. There's new shelving and furniture that seems to insinuate decorating is almost complete:

You won’t find him on social media, but Grandpa Ray’s work is on point. The man won’t stop ply-ing his woodworking craft into his 80s. I used to bail hay with him on his farm in my teens and I always struggled to keep up, and 30 years later we all struggle to keep up with the old man. He crafted these shelves for us from reclaimed cedar electrical poles here in Michigan, estimated to be from the 1930s-40s.
