This Saturday is the big MSU vs. U of M game in Ann Arbor. It's a night game at the Big House. Regardless of each team's win & loss record, the game should be good because of the rivalry between the two schools.

Michigan is ranked #4 and are looking to lay the hammer down on Michigan State. They want to inch there way towards a higher ranking as the season winds down. MSU on the other hand is looking to get a win and stay alive in their hopes for a bowl game this year.

This rivalry never disappoints. Whenever I've gone to this game at Spartan Stadium you could feel the tension in the air. Not just on the field but with the fans too. I love it. Unfortunately there are fans that root for each team that can take it too far and sometimes it ends up with someone getting hurt.

I don't own season tickets anymore for MSU. It wouldn't matter this year because the game is in Ann Arbor. Although it's fun to stay home, save money and root for the Spartans while watching it on my TV, there's something special about being at a restaurant or sports bar that airs the game. Bigger groups of fans make it more fun.

This year I may head out to watch the game. I like a place with lots of room, good food and plenty of TV's. Some pool tables are fun too in case State gets their butt kicked.
