The classic Victorian suspense thriller by Robert Louis Stevenson is coming to the New Vic Theatre October 11th through November 2nd. Adapted by director Michael P. Martin from the original 1887 script the story follows Dr. Jekyll, a man searching for the physical separation of good and evil sides of humankind. Using himself as specimen, he inadvertently unleashes a murderous and malicious manifestation of his inner demons, Mr. Hyde, on an unsuspecting London. Unable to control Hyde and risking everything, Jekyll reveals his secret experiment to his closest companions in hope they can help find resolution, or all will be lost. The intimate space of the New Vic Theatre promises an eerily up close theatrical experience.
