After responding to a call for shots fired, Kalamazoo Public Safety officers arrested a suspect with a stolen gun and methamphetamine following the successful tracking by K-9 Axl.

On Monday, at approximately 03:53 a.m., for the second consecutive day, Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers responded to the 200 block of Pierce Avenue for a report of shots fired. A citizen observed a white SUV leaving the area after the shots were fired.
