Suspect Still At Large In Kalamazoo Area Apartment Shooting
Kalamazoo County authorities are still searching for a suspect in a weekend shooting that happened at an apartment complex in Oshtemo Township. WWMT reports that shots were fired in the 5900 block of Copper Beech Boulevard in Oshtemo Township at around 4:00 Sunday morning. The Kalamazoo County Sheriff's office sent deputies to investigate the scene west of the Western Michigan University campus near Drake Road and "KL" Avenue.
Later it was learned a man had arrived at an area hospital with a minor gunshot wounds. Further investigations indicated that the shooting took place at Paddock Apartments, near the area where the gunshots were reported. There is no description of any suspects at this time or any reported motive.
