Kalamazoo Area Golf Courses Are Opening; Here’s Where to Play
We knew Monday was going to be nice, just maybe not this nice.
One of the safest, socially distanced ways to get some exercise is a round of golf, and with temperatures reaching almost into the upper sixties, a lot of people were probably thinking the same way.
WWMT weather forecaster Will Haenni Tweeted this information late last week.
"The Kalamazoo Municipal Golf Association PGA director of golf tells me driving ranges at Eastern Hills and Milham Park will open Monday morning, with the hope to have the courses ready for play by the middle of next week! That’s close to when they opened last year." - Will Haenni
And there were golfers ready to play this morning, with a five-some leading the way at Eastern Hills, but Milham Park and Red Arrow apparently ready too, The KMGA Facebook page says "Eastern Hills would allow carts on the course today"
