Kalamazoo Could See It’s Worst Flu Season Ever

I guess it's just a sign of the times.  Everything seems to be getting worse.  The hurricanes are stronger and more frequent.  The summers are hotter.  Last year we had the polar vortex and now the prediction is for a milder but snowier winter.  Call the causes what you want but everything seems to be at an extreme.  Now comes word that the upcoming flu season could be one of the worst ever.  Well, why not!

According to information on nbcnews.com, an indication of how bad the flu will be here is how bad it was in the southern hemisphere where the seasons are opposite of ours.  In Australia, for instance, the flu came early and with a vengeance.  Other sources predict this years' flu could be 4 times as bad as last years'.  Experts are strongly encouraging everyone, especially the very young and the very old, to get a flu shot as soon as possible.  Flu season runs from October to May.  Get more information by clicking HERE.
