Kalamazoo Public Safety responded to a Robbery in progress on Wednesday July, 10th at approximately 5:00 p.m. in the 4300 block of West Main. Employees of Advia Credit Union told responding officers that a lone male subject entered the bank demanding money; a weapon was implied but not seen. The suspect fled foot heading southbound from the bank.

After officers arrived, a K-9 was deployed to track the suspect but was unsuccessful. Law enforcement believe the robbery suspect may have got into a vehicle and left the area. An unknown amount of cash was taken. There were no reported injuries.

The suspect is described as male with a medium complexion, approximately 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall and a skinny build. The suspect had his face covered with a mask and was wearing gloves.
