Kalamazoo Restaurant Week Starts With Salsa Cook-Off Saturday

Kalamazoo Restaurant Week is a great time to get out and sample all the tastiness that our fair hamlet has to offer, and for the 5th year in a row, the Salsa Cook-Off is getting it all started. Explore Downtown while sampling the best salsas participating restaurants and shops have to offer. This year, entrees will feature ingredients from growers at the Kalamazoo Farmers Market. Try them all and then vote for your favorite. The winner walks away with glory and a year's worth of bragging rights.

Pick up your Kalamazoo Restaurant Week passport at Consumers Credit Union on the Kalamazoo Mall. Visit all the participating venues featured in the passport AND play Salsa BINGO. The first 100 players to get a BINGO will win a free limited edition Farmers Market Salsa Cook-Off tote bag. Perfect for taking home your next Farmers Market finds. After you've sampled the wares, text the word "SALSA" to 59925. You'll receive instructions as to how to rate your winner. Voting is from 12:00pm to 3:00pm, and winners will be selected in four categories: Judge's Choice, Overall People's Choice, Best Retail, and Best Restaurant.
