Kalamazoo was Warmer Than Las Vegas and Los Angeles on 12/26

What are the odds? We knew it was one of the warmest Christmases in decades, but take a look at these comparisons.

Remember last year when parents thought the kids might never go back to school as Christmas break was extended because of a huge winter storm? This year, dad could fire up the grill for Christmas dinner and kids didn't have to wait until spring to ride a new bike if they found one under the tree.

WWMT Newschannel 3's December 26 newscast showed a graphic of National Weather Service temperatures comparing Southwest Michigan to the American Southwest with Kalamazoo coming out on top.
