Kelvin & Co. To Add Appetizing Portage Location

We told you a year ago that Kelvin & Co. were considering adding to their urban BBQ empire. Plans are nearly complete to bring the meats to Portage.

Kelvin & Co. shared the good news on their Facebook page in October 29:

Guess what...??! We will officially be opening a KELVIN & CO. in PORTAGE! We can't thank our amazing customers and fans for their continued support. The opening will be within the next month or two, and we will keep you posted on our progress. Time to celebrate!

Kelvin & Co.'s original storefront opened on March 31, 2017,  downtown Kalamazoo. The flavors were such a big hit, they opened a second restaurant in the summer 2018 on West Main. A lengthy construction project contributed to the closing of the downtown location in December of 2018. Obviously, the owners love the Kalamazoo area and are making plans to bring their slow-cooked, smoked meats and handcrafted sides to Portage.
