For those still seeking Covid-19 vaccinations, mark this on your calendar. The Kalamazoo Family Health Center is attempting to hold its "largest" Covid-19 vaccine drive-thru to date.

Reported by WWMT News Channel 3, the Kalamazoo Family Health Center is calling this clinic, "One Thousand Shots of Love" in partnership with KRESA and Bronson Health. The clinic is scheduled for May 25th. It's open to those 16 and older and no registration is required.

The Kalamazoo Health Center is no stranger to hosting vaccine clinics. One look at their Facebook page and you can see how often they're providing clinics for everyone in the community. In fact, earlier this month they celebrated a milestone after vaccinating 5,000 people. That number has grown exponentially since.

In a quote to WWMT News Channel 3, Dr. Carolyn Whatley, Chief Medical Officer at Family Health Center, said,

It is a big goal. It's our biggest goal but we are committed. We believe in this vaccine. We know this is the only way we can return to life as normal.

The One Thousand Shots of Love Clinic is open to anyone 16 years and older wanting the Covid-19 vaccine and will be operating at KRESA headquarters at 1819 East Milham Avenue from 9am-6pm on May 25th. As well, you can stay up to date on all future vaccine clinics, updated health news and more on the Kalamazoo Family Health Center's website.

More and more people may be feeling the motivation to get their vaccines after the latest national update. Last week, the CDC released new guidelines which said that those who are fully vaccinated do not need to wear masks indoors. Soon after, the mask mandate for Michiganders was lifted by Governor Whitmer, again, for those who are fully vaccinated. You can read more below:

While much is still unknown about the coronavirus and the future, what is known is that the currently available vaccines have gone through all three trial phases and are safe and effective. It will be necessary for as many Americans as possible to be vaccinated in order to finally return to some level of pre-pandemic normalcy, and hopefully these 30 answers provided here will help readers get vaccinated as soon they are able.
