Lake Doster Golf Club To Open Under Chapter 11 Protection

Tough times continue for golf courses in West Michigan. MLive reports Lake Doster Golf Club near Plainwell will open for business this coming season under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

The report states that the lending institutions involved with the golf course has opted out of the golf business.

This news comes on the heels of last year's decision by the Kalamazoo City Commission to sell Eastern Hills to a commercial developer for $2,000,000.
