The annual "Spooktacular" at the Gilmore Car Museum will be changing the date from October 24th to October 22nd and who can blame them.  The 24th is the rescheduled night for the Luke Bryan concert in Richland and the amount of chaos that will be caused because of it makes it a necessary move.  With 20 thousand people or more and all the cars that come with them, you can only imagine what that night will be like.  So remember the date change to 10/22.

The good news is it's one of the best Halloween events we have every year.  One of the things that makes it great is that part of it is inside and part is outside; especially if the weather is uncooperative.  Jay Follis from Gilmore Car Museum passed along this information:  Each October we hold this great community trunk and treat event, which draws nearly 3,000 costumed youth. Youth aged 12 and under are FREE, adults just pay $5.00, for the event that is held rain or shine.  During the Spooktacular, children enjoy several candy and treat stations with costumed volunteers, rides in antique vehicles, seeing several fire trucks from area departments and a more than a few surprises.
