Man Charged With Raping Unconscious Woman Near Coldwater
A man from Indiana is facing several charges after he allegedly raped a woman in the Coldwater area while she was unconscious and filmed the crimes.
The Coldwater Daily Reporter says that 29-year-old Bradley Renner is accused of having sex with the woman while she was incapacitated at least three times starting in March 2018; he also allegedly stole Adderall from the woman, and when he was arrested authorities found some on him. Police say that Renner and the victim had a sexual relationship, but that she did not and could not consent to the sex acts. He's also accused of groping her.
Authorities say that Renner admitted to having sex with the victim three times "while she was out of it."
Renner is charged with three counts of third degree criminal sexual conduct, one count of fourth degree CSC, one of larceny from a building and one of possession of a controlled substance.
Third-degree CSC is a 15 year felony, while convictions for the larceny and drug possession carry 4 and 2 years in prison respectively.
