Traverse City Chief Kim Ryan has out lasted 16 chiefs from across the country on the Fox reality show 'Hell's Kitchen'.
Last night Kim Ryan became one of the two remaining contestants on the Fox reality show 'Hell's Kitchen'.
Ryan (as she is referred too on the show) studied at the Culinary Institute of Michigan in downtown Muskegon. She then went on to work at a variety of restaurants in the Grand Traverse are including...
- The Cook's House
- Black Star Farms and Alliance
Mlive.com reported that the winner of the show will receive $250,000 and become a head chef at Yardbird Southern Table & Bar at the Venetian in Las Vegas.
Ryan's signature dish according to her bio is seared scallops with Mango Jalapeno Salsa and spicy toasted rice Crispies. I have never tasted her food, but was very impressed how she keeps her cool on the show. As other contestants back stab each other, she seems to stay focused!
I am excited to see if she can win the competition! I guess we will find out on Feb 2nd at 8:00pm!
